Happy Halloween! is the grand finale in Green Monkey's series of early, barely released Green Pajamas material, originally released thirty years ago in October 1984, a mere four months after the classic Summer of Lust. Ten cassettes were made for the entire world. Originally eight songs, for this release we have added 13 mostly unreleased PJ's songs recorded in an 8-month period between Summer of Lust and their first single, "Kim the Waitress." A few saw very limited release and have been highly sought commodities among Pajamas collectors. Happy Halloween! is two West Seattle guys setting the crucible of creativity on fire, with a great bunch of songs that are already expanding away from the psychedelic label they got with Summer of Lust. Jeff Kelly and The Green Pajamas have made over 30 albums in the last 30 years - a consistently intriguing body of work.
