Seattle band, The Maldives have been tearing up the Northwest for the past few years with their high and lonesome sound. Tequila/Someday features a single from the full-length, exclusive B-side tracks and a live performance on Seattle’s KEXP radio station. Both releases capture the raw energy of their live performances with blazing guitar solos, crashing drums, winsome four-part vocal harmonies, beautiful pedal steel and fiddle played with tattoos under shirtsleeves, and a crazed glint in the eye. This is country music, but it's equally rock 'n' roll, plus a shot each of blues, soul and folk. Hell, it's just plain music, real and raw.
