Burnside Album Details

Angels on the other side is a marvelous record, suspended between rock and folk, driven by a brilliant game of electric and acoustic guitar that highlights Manson’s timbre, often compared to that of John Hiatt. Jono is accompanied by the young Texas rock band The Shurman, who add an additional breath of fresh air. Also present is frequent collaborator John Popper of Blues Traveler. The angels, both visible and invisible, are the leit motiv of this record.
