Picked in 1985 as one of the Top 10 Bands to watch by Rolling Stone Magazine, Crazy 8s were the college radio/indie rock darlings of the 1980's and early 90's. The original Big Live Nut Pack release was a 5" and a 3" cd for a crazy 8 inches of live music released on 8-8-88 after 8 shows (7 from the stage of a 40' semi that traveled the Portland, Oregon market, performing in front of retail outlets and making a mess of the local commute for many folks. Out of print for nearly 15 years, this classic live recording reappears with (a crazy) 8 bonus tracks on the 20th Anniversary of the original release. This release was from an incredible night in Eugene in front of the largest crowd ever to see a performance at the University of Oregon's Erb Memorial Ballroom. In 2007, Crazy 8s were inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame.
