A living legend from Southern Texas, Augie Meyers has done it all - from the founding days of the Sir Douglas Quintet to Lord August and the Vision of Light (not to mention Denny Ezba and the Fabulous Goldens) up to the Grammy winning Texas Tornados (with Freddy Fender, Flaco Jimenez and again, Doug Sahm), to his work on Bob Dylan's Grammy winning "Time Out of Mind" release, and keyboard work from everybody from Tom Waits to John Hammond Jr. Throughout it all, Augie has continued to release solo titles featuring his signature vox organ sound and his accordion skills.
