Burnside Album Details

This recording is the result of a very special encounter between five musicians who, in essence, have similar views but very different experiences. Basically, it is a meeting of two generations that have been cultivating a deep feeling of enchantment towards Brazilian music. The Modern Traditions Ensemble features Isaias de Almeida, mandolin; Naylor Proveta, soprano sax and clarinet ; Israel de Almeida, 7-string guitar ; Benjamin Taubkin, piano; and Guello, percussion.
