Brazilian born, Swedish based guitarist Gui Mallon makes his United States and Adventure Music debut with the release of “Live at Montreux” on this, his 8th solo release. Recorded during the group’s 1999 European tour at the famed Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Mallon and his ensemble, which features between nine and twelve musicians and includes guitar, sax, flute and percussion, and a full string quartet, explore both Mallon’s original compositions as well as unique and challenging chamber music arrangements on this remarkable and spiritual live recording.
